Growth Through Changes
Greenhouse Project
Our greenhouses will grow more than plants – they will grow skills, confidence, and jobs.
The Vision
We are raising startup funding to build greenhouses in Licking County where participants of Growth Through Changes learn sustainable agriculture in a real, working environment. The greenhouses will produce fresh, healthy food for our community while providing paid training and employment for the men and women we serve.
Training Ground
The greenhouse is a living classroom. Participants learn planting, propagation, watering systems, pest control, harvesting, and how to run a small farming business – skills that travel with them wherever they go.
Employment
As the project grows, our greenhouse operations create real jobs. Participants earn a paycheck, build a work record, and gain references that help them move into the broader workforce.
Planned Crops
We plan to grow a variety of produce that is in demand locally.
Roma Tomatoes
Beefsteak Tomatoes
Cherry Tomatoes
Grape Tomatoes
Heirloom Tomatoes

How the Project Provides Training & Employment
- Learn by doing. Every crop, water line, and harvest is a lesson in responsibility and skill.
- Earn as you grow. Paid work for participants gives real income and a real work record.
- Give back. Produce grown will feed local families and support community partners.
- Build a future. Graduates leave with references, experience, and confidence to secure lasting employment.
